Jamaica: Your Ultimate Guide to Things to Do with Personal Ratings
I had the pleasure to spend my birthday in JAMAICA!!! I had a weeklong birthday and my friends and I were OUTSIDE!
We went to the 3 main tourist cities, so here are my reviews of the activities and resort:
Negril: Rick’s Cafe and Snorkeling Boat Tour
Montego Bay: Bamboo Rafting and Massage
Rating: 10/10
Description: The boat tour takes you around Negril in the ocean. You’ll stop in the middle of the ocean to snorkel and go to Rick’s Café to jump off cliffs and vibe to music.
Pros:
· I always love an open bar
· Seeing the sea creatures while snorkeling was amazing even though I was very scared at first
· I jumped off the baby cliffs at Rick Café, but the view was amazing
· The Live Entertainment was such a vibe, we never wanted to leave
· Our van mates were the absolute best! I cannot guarantee you’ll get as great van mates as us, but ours gave us so much free stuff. They were truly too kind
· A very reasonable price activity that was all day
· The tour guide was so nice and let us get KFC on our ride back (KFC in Jamaica is way better than the States!!)

Description: A tranquil rafting ride down the river with a foot massage.
Pros:
· We were the first rafters for the day, so it was so peaceful being there with no one else
· Our guide was young, so we enjoyed the flirty banter hahaha
· I needed that massage! Honestly, as I am writing this, I need another massage
· Our driver gave us a great tour of Montego Bay and told us about the different neighborhoods

Rating: 8/10
Pros:
· It was right on the water, so fantastic view
· The music and vibes of the place was A1
Cons:
· The taxi to get here is very expensive even though it was a 10 min drive. They make you pay per person ($30)
· There is definitely an upcharge for tourist, which is to be expected, but I hated how long it took for the bartenders to serve you. They would walk right pass you and ignore you
Rating: 8/10
Description: Dunn’s River is a waterfall that you can climb. The Cave is a historical fixture in Jamaica.
Pros:
· I always love an adventure water activity
· It was interesting learning about Jamaica’s history on the cave tour
Cons:
· Our driver rarely talked to us, so he did not give us any interesting tidbits about the sites that we passed as advertised.

Rating: 10/10
Pros:
· The food was authentic Jamaican food and was absolutely amazing. It was the best RIU food that I had, and I’ve stayed at 3 before.
· The pool entertainment staff during the day were very entertaining to watch
· The nighttime show was cool
· We had a free upgrade, so our room was massive
Cons:
· Too many couples for me! Single people are more social!
· The nightclub on the resort was sooo lame but mildly entertaining watching people without rhythm dance
